 We’re kicking off the Summer talking about Adults in the Sandtray!

 Now adults can be tricky when using Sandtray, usually because of the skepticism right up front to the method. A lot of people see it as something for kids only, which we know is a myth! But don’t freak out!

 I want you to watch the video and then reflect on how the information can be applied to your practice and your adult clients.

Let’s touch on the first two tips to process through the week:

Tip #1 = You have to sell it! Like we talked about, lots of adults are hesitant to Sandtray so we have to really convince them of its value. Using psycho education, walking them through the set up/process, and laying it all out at the get go really helps encourage adults!

Tip #2 = Adults usually build trays like teens, with concrete items. It’s all new to them, so they’ll at least start very simple. Don’t expect them to build the way you do!
